In regard to a key question, "Were Crusade and Mission complimentary or competitive ideas?" scholars reviewing Benjamin Kedar's book Crusade and Mission in referred journals have come to opposite conclusions. Heh.
Going into class this morning, I thought Kedar's point was that they were competative, but re-reading my review of the book, I actually made a stronger case that he was arguing that they were complimentary ideas.
I say all this because this blog has been getting a lot of Google hits on this topic, and readers should really be aware of the fact that, not only do the experts not know what the point of the book is, this blogger doesn't even know which point he's arguing.
I guess I should just call him, but while it's free to call the UK on Vonage, it's not to call Israel, and I'm cheap.
